Welcome to nicoclub....weeeeeee! k.
Serveral things I would try if this happened to me.
1. Try all the gears but don't force it, even try reverse. If any of these other gears work then go back to 1st gear and take off.
2. When you are trying to put it in gear, rev up a little (2k rpms-ish) while putting the car in gear.
Now I have some questions, does this happen during the first startup of the day or does it happen randomly while your driving?
I know my response isn't an answer why this might be happening but I will check google right now, but it might temporarly fix your issue of not being able to move.
***Update***
Can you car go into gear when the car is turned off? If so try putting the car in 1st gear then turning it on and see what happens from there.
Also I read up on another forum that it could be your pilot bearing. I would defently have the dealer take a look at that. Also have them check for a bent fork.
