I usually do search things and prefer not to post up things right away but this problem has gone way too far... I have a 92 240sx with HUD and I tried the tutorial on how to repair it since the only thing that didn't work on it was the hud and digital speedo. Once I opened it up and couldn't figure out what was the problem. I put it back in and suddenly my the digital clock is now blank(was working before i f***ed with it) CD player quit working and the light indicating the door is open, won't turn off. Even when the door are fully closed. Before I opened it up the hud would work every couple of weeks for a few min. This problem is driving me crazy, and electrical stuff is not my strong suit. PLEASE HELP! Honestly though I have been on this site back and fourth and recieve a lot of good information/tutorials and this is the first post since i can't find anything.

Check the fuses down by the clutch pedal. The clock fuse and the radio are the same. If it still wont come on check to see if you pluged the harness all the way back in.

I've checked all the fuses and they're fine, I don't know if I may have fried something when I swapped the TCU (white box near the fuses) out of a analog speedo hatch into my digital hud coupe would do anything? I just seen some sort or write up here that said that those and the dash lights somtimes fry out when you put in an aftermarket stereo and hard wire straight into the harness... I switched the TCU's back already and still no lights. Like I mentioned before that the "open door light" is on constantly but the chime isn't going off? Could I have just f*** the whole thing. Also I noticed that my digital speedo was a little blackend on the right corners, could it be that just the whole this is burning out? and wasn't at all the capacitor?
Thanks for the input, Please Help MORE! This problem is driving me crazy
