Car: 93 vert Engine : 96 Sr20det blacktop type x(s13) So my car has been runing great up until 2 days ago, I was driving to work and I noticed it was misfiring like crazy so I kept the RPM's low and cruised into a church about 3 miles up the road, I noticed the fuel line had cracked and was bleeding tons of pressure, so I fixed that and it still misfired, So I got home and parked it until today, I went to change the spark plugs, I assumed all the misfiring fouled the plugs with raw gas, so I went to pull the sparks and behold all my coilpacks are melted towards the bottom, and one was stuck, when I finally got the stuck one out(cylinder 2) It was the worst with a strong gas smell on the coilpack and it melted smooth around and the sparkplug has melted plastic around the top of it, (others were fine). My theory is the misfiring from the lack of fuel (for 2 miles) got on the coilpacks and melted them..? But Id like to hear from you guys, these 2 problems appeared the same day, and the coilpacks were pulled this summer to replace one (dead) and they all looked fine. Any ideas or input would be appericated, my car is currently under a car cover sitting

So there was no fuel leaking down in the spark plug tube?

Could disconnecting my battery while the turbo timer keeps the car running for a min or 2 after the battery is off, cause the voltage to spike enough to melt the coils?
