my boy's birthday is coming up and a few of us guys have gotten together and pitched in to get him some rims. they are 19x8 (f) and 19x8.5 (r)...front offset is 30 and rear is 33...i wanna know what is the widest tires i can use in the front and back without having any rubbing issues...i know that there might be the possibility that we have to roll the fenders..but im trying to aviod that..so i would like to ask all the altima people out there..what is the widest tire i can use on the front and rear on an 2008 2.5s altima sedan...

remember..19x8 with a 30mm offset in front 19x8.5 with a 33mm offset in the rear

assuming that the sedan and coupes have the same stock tire size, you can either get 245/35/19 or 255/35/19.

I Have 19x8.5 offset 35 Tire = 245/35

They look great in the fender, and i am positive that you will not have any rubbing problems. (Coupe)

I have the same question as always. Why are you putting wider rims on the rear of a FWD car? Why not the same? If you haven't modded the suspension, it would actually make more sense to do the opposite and even put one size wider tires on the front! I remember a few years back, seeing a guy with a FWD car, had huge wheels and wide tires on the rear and small, narrow wheels and tires on the front - looked like a funny car.... duh!

If they were 19x10 and 19x8 I would be worried, but honestly he'll probably be fine with 8 and 8.5.

Yes, he'll be fine, but why do people keep putting wider wheels on the rear of FWD cars? I guess I just don't get it.

Seeing as how they are 8 and 8.5 I don't think its for looks. You'd have to be really paying attention to notice a .5 inch difference. My guess is that he's buying a used set or a set from eBay and just doesn't know any better to find matching wheels.
