Coilovers are always a good start. Dont worry too much about strut bars, you will only notice them when you open your hood or trunk.Replace all the wear items under the car. Bushings, balljoints, whatever links you feel need to be upgraded etc etc. Look into a diff of some kind and make sure overall maintenance is up to snuff. This question gets asked a lot bro.

And before people start poking your eyes to take all your money, 3K is plenty enough to re-vamp and freshen your suspension. You will have to get a little bit dirty.Take a long hard look at what you have, see where you want to be, and look only at the parts that will get you there. Also, remember, tires are kinda important as well.

That seems like a pretty decent set-up. I'd recommend the bushings also. Just remember if you buy the master bushing set it's quite and undertaking to rip everything apart and replace them all. I'd recommend the front tension rod bushings particularly. Those made the steering feel great in my car compared to stock.

That's the link for just the Tension rod bushings. You can find the master kit for an s13 just about anywhere.

go with the best or go home my advice. do it right the first time or don't do it at all and save up.

coilovers: stances. i have them and many feedback from users. good way to go.Rucas: Spl when slamming your car you will need it to fix your camber. Sways: many to choose from but good ones people suggest are whitelines, progress, and tanabe.Rear subframe spacers: people overlook this many times but i will tell you they make hell of a difference. you will feel the difference night and dayBushings: energy suspension kit. replace old bushings like control arms, steering bushing etc. because 17 years will kill bushings. strut bars: too many to name. i have cuscos and i like them. tie rods: best bang for the buck i think is getting tein inner tie rods with some type of pillowball outter rod.rear toe rods: i have spl. they have proven quality and performance.

theres many to choose from whenn deciding with suspension and i've given you my opinion. people may say get megan they do the job but when you're life is on the line i think going with the best is the best way. or else you'll just end up selling your cheap **** for something better. go all out or just save up.
