i dunno which to pick. do you get emmisions checks down that way much? we dont' ever here, so i would go with a straight pipe and just get rid of the cat all together. i don't know which to choose......you car looks like a 4x4 right now w/ rims and stuff, so i would say coilovers, for height reasons, and so you will be lower and in more control of the car when you start goin faster w/ that KA-T. so yea, coils.

I voted for coilovers too. They're the ultimate in adjustibility and control. You'll be needing that with the power you're going to be making with the turbo.

Definitely coilovers! And then the rest of the suspension stuff. But coilovers first. What kinda coilovers are you looking at?

CuscoGp sportsApex-i (N-1 or N-1 'v')ZEAL

Im leaning more toward the apex-I setup, since its got a lot of adjustability and I've had good luck with apex-i products...

cusco has nice stuff too.any feedback?-chet

How about JIC? That has a ton of adjustability too

What do you plan on doing with your car? Just street driven/daily driver, roadracing, drag? Your car need to be lowered to bad so bad, hehe it looks like its on stilts. Why don't you upgrade brakes(nevermind i see that youve already done that), sway bar, catalytic converter, cut springs a half a coil, and get new struts. That would leave more money for the engine in the future(a little maybe?)

well, for those that know me, they know I plan on road racing it quite a bit. The C/F shaft will be700-900 dollars. I dont like JIC very much, just form a personal standpoint.

anyways, All of the mods listed will be getting done, Im just not sure what I want to do FIRST.-chet

My vote is for coilovers. However I'd highly suggest going with another company. My friends and myself have been highly dissapointed with their coilovers. I have WS's and 2 friends have N1s. Horrible tech support, inability to buy seperate parts, and they don't even have any rebuilding/custom work available yet.

well, if you do plan on turboing your ka this summer, you should know that to go with about 340rwhp, you should have braking AND suspension done. if u don't have that much suspension now, you will DEF need it before u do that motor stuff. how are you gonna handle?? think, u don't wanna hit the wall when that turbo kicks in and knocks you outta control (JUST A SCENARIO, hint hint)

definitely get some kinda suspension setup...i don't know what you see wrong with JIC.. i mean the suspension setup is very nice and its comes with EVERYTHING you pretty much need in a complete setup. and the kit is only around 1400.

or, get something like ground controls and some nice tokicos or something like that. camber kits, control arms, etc.

i'd just go with JIC. but its ur opinion. the other stuff can wait, but dude, you NEED suspension.

~Scott i'm personally getting the JIC setup this summer.

i say coilovers aswell, allthough the are the most pricy of the choices, what about some Teins? they are atleast a little cheaper then the other brands you looking at, and still very good coilovers.

def. coilovers. your car is incomplete without them.

plus if you are gonna have more power this summer, better have the extra handling. you need to test her on a 300ft skidpad before and after install. that would be sweet.

I cna get a local custome driveshaft(drag racing shop) to make one, or these people:http://www.acpt.com/index.html

I was going to do a skidpad with just my wheels and tires, then the coilcovers, then sway bars, etc....

then i realised how expensive it was going to be to do that(renting out a track with a skdipad is gonna cost meh some money) so I'll just post the trap speed I run through a favorite twisty road of mine, or use my friends G-tech pro to see how different the G_forces maintained are.-chet
