I have a 92 coupe with the ka24de duh.. its a 5-speed too any ways i just rebuilt the motor and tried to turn it over and it cranked and then i seen i had the timing off so now the timing is dead on and the car wont crank over. its not getting power to the starter, i pulled the stater and tested it and it was fine i had another starter and tested that one too and its fine so i put the new one in and same thing theres no power to the starter.. so what i was thinking was the lower engine harness is bad? can anyone tell me if my guess is correct? and if so ill need a lower engine harness if someone has one.. thanks..

if it cranked over before and then you just messed with the cam timing??

have you tried turning it threw a full cylce at the crank?

it could be that the cams are off and the pistons are hitting the valves and the starter wont turn it over

most likely it is a lower harness if you say you redid the timing to pefect

I got the starter to turn over but it wont engage to spin the fly wheel so thats why its not cranking now.. do you mean turning the crank pulley all the way around to see if the cams line up like i set them? no didnt try that but i can retry after i get a new starter or the starter fixed.. Thanks for the idea..

Ill keep this post updated!

you can run a wire from the positive terminal of your battery to the starter if it starts then its the harness
