I got a 92 s13 with a redtop. Stock turbo, motor, injectors, everything except the maf. I upgraded to a Z32 one and I do have an SAFC2 for tuning. BUT the problem is is I have the safc set at 2 in 6 out and I went through and zeroed out everything. The problem is that whenever I go to give it gas it instantly bogs down and wants to die... I can't drive it to get it to a dyno to get a real time tune, and I cannot afford to tow it (good 15 miles at least to the closest dyno shop for me). Now I understand every car is different, but I am just trying to figure out how to make it drivable so I can drive it to and from work. And yes I have searched, I have been workin on this for a good couple of days now. I have no codes being thrown. Any help is appreciated.

get a stock maf 1st just to get it running and keep it running. Then find someone with a good safc2 graph u can copy to get it running right.

+1 @ what usmc said.....

I suppose worst to worst you can unplug the maf and drive it to a shop.....
Can't rev over 3k, and may or may not stall.....

I always read about people saying "I can't get it to a dyno to get a tune."

Whats wrong with a street tune? All you need is a 1/2 mile of a straight road and a 3rd gear pull. Hell, my stepfather was able to make HP out of our tune on the street than when we attempted a tune on a dyno. . .But I guess it helps when you've got 15 years with fuel injection systems. . .

Well?! What was the diagnosis?! Though it may seem like a "stupid" thing that you may have looked over, it expands our search engine and will allow someone else to view a similar problem.

I'm pretty sure I blew the maf out :) It's' the only thing that it could be. I had my friend look it over, my safc settings, the symptoms and he said "definately the maf". Problem is is I have to buy one to test it out... I don't have one to borrow for a day :(
