well if it comes out to not be the alternator, you might wanna look around your car for any lights that stay on. I found out that my light in my trunk stayed on even when my trunk was closed, i ended up taking the bulb out.

Ya Ive already checked to make sure that is operational (the switch that is) and Ive checked just about every other light as well, brake lights turn off, interior light functions normally. Many of tiny interior bulbs dont work to begin with such as the ash tray light.
