Hey guys,

For the longest time it was set that I'd be going RB25, it was paid for even but things have changed the the SR will be here soon.

My goal for this SR will be 300-350RWHP. That may even be more than I need but it has a nice ring to it so there you have it, my problem is that I do not want to overspend on parts that will be overkill. So I need some help here.

These are things I have:Monster Hybrid Intercooler3" stainless steel cat-back exhaustApexi Power Intake /w Z32 MAFWalbro 255 fuel pumpKoyo Radiator /w electric fansBlitz BOVACT clutchEmanage /w injector+ignition harness and Support tool

I want to get:GT25R turbo /w 550cc injectors and call it a day... do you guys think thats ok? Or do you feel the stock exhaust manifold is just too restrictive, or is that turbo itself massive overkill for just 300-350.

I plan to get rocker arm stoppers, but the deal that phase2 has (RAS, metal head gasket, and valves) is highly appealing, I'd also like HKS cams.

Now I doubt I need all this I just want it all..

Gimme a hand guys should I just get a nice t3/t4 manifold /w a t3/t4 and 550s?

or jus tthe injectrs and the gt25r?? gimme some input.

S15 T28 BB turbo man...a cheap ebay manifold(they get good reviews from this board) and yeah the 550s...RAS and metal head gaskets will come in handy...you'll have no trouble hitting 300+hp with what your planning...don't bother with the T3/T4, you dont' drive a honda, lol...

Thanks for the reply redline though I don't agree /w that last portion.... a t3/t4 is a larger turbo than the small *** T25's and T28s.. they can produce more cubic flow at lower RPM's and our engines have larger displacements to put that air.. so in reality I'd think our engines are MORE suited towards the T3/T4 than honda engines... thanks for the info though I really don't want to waste the money on a T28, but I'll look into it.. thanks a lot though.

Anyone else wanna take a stab at it? or redline you wanna tell me why I'm wrong?

also, S15 BB turbos are like 700-900 bucks while a GT25R can be had for like 1,100 wouldn't you guys agree the GT would be far superior for only a little more? see? these questions aren't so easy to answer now after all are they.

hah thanks redline, I hope you don't think I was bashing you I agreed with all of it but the turbo thing. My goal is to buy the least ammount of things needed at this point.

I see it like this.. someone tell me if either option sounds alright and which sounds better or my 300-350WHP.

1) GT2540R or its gerrit equiv sinc eI think thats an HKS name for it. /w stock manifold and 550cc's

2)Aftermarket t3/t4 manifold /w I don't know yet size t3/t4. and of course the 550cc.

GT25R is the only way to go, I'm in love with mine (jay also has one and loves it).

Don't waste your time on a head gasket, it's not needed, even past the 400rwhp level. The RAS is a good idea though.

Hey Bryson I'm pretty much doing the same thing you are. I think the GT25R is a excellent choice and is very capable of producing 350 and more whp. I remember PSI240SX making 361 whp at 17.5 pounds of boost. He basically had: exhaust, intake, HKS 264 step 1 cams, Z32 Maf, GT25R with .86A/R exhaust, and a secret service rom tune; also did I mention that he did this all on 93 octane. PSI240SX also said that he could get 400whp with adding valve springs, RAS, HG, and Greddy IM and upping the boost. I hope that answers some of your questions.

Low(ish) boost stock cams 400rwhp no problem with cams and more tunning and boost.
