Hi everyone, first time poster here.
I have been driving my 2002 nissan sentra ser spec V for several years now, and the parking brake has always been sub par. The manual says that the brake should be able to hold my car on a hill in only 5-7 "clicks", however I require nearly 12 - "max range" clicks to hold it on a hill.
I have brought it into the dealer, and all they do is tighten the little nut that sits at the base of the parking brake lever.
It seems to me this should not be a difficult fix for the individual owner to accomplish, so tell me, how can I do it?! I want to tighten the cable so that I get a firm, solid locking of the rear brakes when I need to pull the handle.
Have any of you done this successfully or perhaps can point me in the right direction?
Thanks
