After an *** load of testing stuff i got the fuel pump to work when i supplied power to the black wire w/ yellow stripe. But there is one problem...im not sure how often this wire should get power. I need someone to pull their trunk carpet, remove the little metal cover on the passenger side (like 2 screws), make sure you have a good ground with one side of the tester and hook up the other side to the black wire w/ yellow stripe (the side of the harness leading to the front of car, not to fuel pump). Then test for voltage with the key off and with the key in the ignition position. I need to see if this wire is supplied voltage all the time or if it is hooked into the ignition and how much voltage is necessary. I need to know the answer to this question by tomorrow morning and if someone could do this for me it would be a life saver. It should take 10 mins tops and i'd greatly appreciate it.
