ok ive spent alot of money trying to fix it...i got it not knowing what kind of condition it was in...i bought it for 4k and spend 1700 trying to fix it..when i got it you had to replace the tires every 900 miles...so i got that fixed....the only problem i know of now is theres still a bent part that makes t jerk around turns and the steering wheel gets crooked....its a 1993 non turbo 5 speed...with 107k mi. the interior is in great condition and there is no leaks except the washer fluid for the front window. in attachng links that you put in your search to show pics

Sounds like someone did a diy rack-and-pinion job and poorly at that. Sounds like it has been spun around on the highway or interstate at a high rate of speed.
