I replaced the clutch on my rb25det. I removed the slave cyclinder and yes being dume I PUSHED, in the rod. After I finished the clutch I went for a drive and everything worked well but my peddle felt very soft. So I said I will bleed it tommorw. Then next day I woke up and started to bleed it but now the peddle went limp and does not want to build any pressure. The fluid makes it down to the bleeder nipple but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Do I have to bleed the master cyclinder and the slave cyclinder? I am so lost. It is my first time doing a clutch bleed and thought it would be like a brake bleed. HELP ME ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

don't freak bro.. i got your back! lol

i used to have an altima and did the same exact same thing u described, my facination with the slave cylinders "in out motion" to show my GF a demonstration also resulted in the symptons you describe!

heres the fix...

#1 you broke the seal on the slave by fiddling with it.. you can a) rebuild the slave.. or b) buy a new one for roughly $100... just buy a new one and be done with it.

#2 you need a vacuum pump to properly bleed a push type slave.. thats why nissan changed to pull type slave/clutch later on... go to a garage.. and tell them to bleed it for you because you have the vacuum tool u need.

all in your in it for about $150... don't worry too much tho. its easy to fix.
