Help Me!!

i've put a post on her b4, and i asked about the s13 sr20det install into my s14 240sx. and i need help with the install, someone told me to cut my wire harrness from my s14, and soder them to the s13.im not really wantint to do that, i have uncut wire harrness, and i dont want to cut them and mine, i want to no if u can plug them right in, or what i need to do for my swap. i want to no are there any other ways to do this. thank you very much

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's true. You'll have to cut your KA and SR harness to make it work. I don't know how much "experience" you have in this type of thing, but I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself as you could fry your ECU if done improperly. You will also need the JDM S13 FSM and USDM S14 FSM before you even start thinking about cutting and soldering anything youself. I say just send both harnesses to either Daunt-After Dark Tuning or HeavyThrottle. They can do the wiring service for you and guarentee a "turn-key start" (that's if everything elses is done right!)

ill be gettin duant to do mine when i order my sr from him in a month or 2 ( waiting for sis to pay me back $1600 i gave her for a down payment on her 03 eclipse)

I'm sending mine to Daunt as well as he's offering a little better price, plus the waiting period is a lot shorter.

ya, get someone to professionally do it bro...that is stuff u don't wanna do.

there is one other alternative...its a lot more expensive (which is why most people don't do it) but u can go with the jwt ecu reprogram. u send JWT your factory ka24 ecu and they reprogram it for the sr. this means you can use your factory ka wiring harness. but you'd have to get a JDM RWD Silvia (non turbo) distributor and take away your direct fire. i think i'm one of the only people on the board to have done it this way. and no i'm not saying i'm the ONLY one, but i have heard about this from people once or twice.

Its only another suggestion...More $$ of course

Daunt's service runs probably about 100-200 bux??and the jwt way runs you about 600 for the ecu, 200 to find distributor and wires. but then you have an modified ecu in the process that you can upgrade. u can send it into JWT for another 100 bux they can program it to the mods you will get. feel me?TRUE. lol.

I posted a link for you in your first topic asking about swapping an s13 sr20 into an s14 chassis. Go back and look for it! It basically shows you step by step how to do it.
