so after the auto-manual swap i was left with an ugly gap where the shifter was, so i hacked up the automatic one. i stole the shift boot from my other car that doesnt run. i literally had to streach the leather since it was a sqaure shape on my other car. now i know it may not look like a stock one, infact i have never seen one (someone please post yours so i can compare please!) but for costing me absolutley nothing i think its FTMFW! here are the pics

so first i dremeled out around and cleaned it up with the bits i had.looking nice!duck tape to see how it fitslock-tite brush on super glue FTWall glued onthe i glued on a washer that fit over the shifteri then rolled the leather and glued it down, it looks betterso for free not bad! the back right corner wouldnt roll and glue it was to much of a streach.

Looks pretty good, definitely something I'll have to try on my S13. I've got a different boot on there and it doesn't fit for ****.

its supposed to look like that, and yours actually doesnt look too bad, but the way the edges are where it meerts the boot is pretty sharp, so try to sand it to make it round off a little more and youl be good to go

did this mod start when you broke those little pins ? b/c I might be the only guy with all but one pin and an after market shift boot.

Best shift boot I ever saw was a velvet Crown Royal bag modified to be a shift boot, that thing was sweet.
