So im getting my money from the insurance company soon. If you dont know or forgot my car got hit by one of Florida's lovely licensed motor vehicle owners and was totaled. Anyway, I have found a shell for $500 and will be installing my CA into it. I think I will be purchasing a gt3071r (.63 ar) and some 264/264 cams. Now ofcourse I could purchase a cheaper t3/t4 turbo and have more money to spend on lets say a lsd and or an AEM standalone... Might be getting ahead of myself but you get what I am saying. I just think a gt3071r will be well worth it in the long run.

Does anyone have any experience with this turbo on a CA, or possibly knows someone that knows someone that really loves this turbo. I am only going by what i have read in the SR forum and it seems like they really like this turbo. It seems like a great turbo for my power goal of 350-400hp (cant let gerry get to far ahead of me ) but I wonder more about the response with this turbo. I have read around on honda-tech (dont stone me ) and some of the ls-turbo guys are running this turbo and love it, so maybe I am worring for nothing. Thanks for reading.

i agree. lsd and stand alone over the turbo. Also, if you haven't already rebuilt your engine then i suggest you do that first.

overboosted180 just put down 380something rear wheel hp on a t3/t4 or a t4 setup, I'd go with the t3/t4 oil cooled and put the rest into engine management and lsd, injectors n stuff

..you could paypal it to me, and I will offer you ever lasting good luck (conditions apply) :-)

Spend the money carefully..don't blow it all on a turbo.larger gt28 turbo and frontmount intercooler is the place to start.

Ahhh....Mr. Big Juice! Congrats on your come up! Spend it wisely. Make good power but have the necessities to hold it and know you're safe!.. u should come down and pay me and Dee a visit. I'm pretty sure he can put you back on track!

the car has :t3/t04e .50/.48E-manage550's (for now)z32 mafnew bearingscp pistons (stock bore)cometic head gasketarp head studsnew water pumptein suspensionsome other stuff ...

I get what you are saying about the standalone and it does seem like a great choice, but I think I will be able to make decent power on this emanage. Not 450-500hp but that is not what I'm aiming for so. The first thing I will be doing is my 300zx brake upgrade and then I will try to source a vsld from a couple mechanics i know, probably should be able to get a good deal from one of them. The t3/t4 idea is nice but I would have to run a pretty decent sized turbo to make the power I am looking for and then the response would suffer. So I guess I will go against the grain and go with the 3071r, but damn I was hoping that at least one person had tried this before me and could give me some insight. Oh well i guess i will be the guinea pig.
