wats good nico usersim new to the site and i am not really good wit computers im gettin better though....quick intro

im 25 and air force vet and i live in brooklyn ny...i just recently bought a 93 j30 i go to school right now for auto body so i will have pix of my baby soon...

heres the problems:1. when i put the car in gear and attempt to pull off,it takes forever to gain speed...there is no check engine light on...and the person who sold me the car told me the fuel pump was recently replaced...and it may need injectors...the car has 170K on it...after drivin it around for a minute it still feels like the engine can be strong...i still got up to like 70 mph...it just has NO POWER....

thats the first of the few things im tryin to troubleshoot....i have the service manuals and i am a do it yourself type...a little advice from u guys please...i am goin to swap and all eventually but i need my baby to fixed up now....any advice guys...thanks...promo

All new Fluids.New Plugs NKG !! OEM Spec ONLY.Clean the MAF.Fuel and Air Filter.Do you have a record of Timing belt changes ??Injectors can be ohmed out to see if they are weak. Also a can of BG44K will do wonders for clogged injectors.

No power and no CEL can also be a Bad Knock sensor retarding your timing. You can bypass it with a resistor just to verify the problem.Do a search here and you will see how. Very simple. And Lastly

Welcome To NICO !!

Clean your throttle bodies, too. If they get gummed up, it will make the engine less responsive.
