if you want it quieter you'll need something with a decent chamber. magnaflow makes some nice oval straight through mufflers that have a good sized chamber that don't add too much height. Try replacing that 18" resonator with a chambered muffler because I can tell you the resonator isn't doing much for noise.
I cant tell from the pic, but if you're running 3", try this:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-11219/ That's what I'm running on my car and it sounds great. The height is only 4" so the muffler is pretty flat. If you're 4" piping all the way, that's a little tougher.
Here's a 4" "race muffler" that magnaflow makes:

edit: If you have the 3" vibrant resonator, it's already 4" on the outside. If you have the 4" vibrant resonator, it's already 5". So i'd def replace that with one of the magnaflows I linked above. Both of them at least have a chamber to eat up noise without hurting flow too much. It won't add any height to your exhaust, just some width. And it looks like you have room on the sides for a chamber.
