Ok i am newbie to the 240sx but not a newbie to cars or the car world.But I am having a problem getting my 240 to run it will crank all day long but no fire it is getting plenty of fuel found out the hard way. It is getting spark but i cant get it to fire I have replaced battery,alt,coil,plugs and wires,cap and rotor button all of it now and still get my car to run.

I really hope you guy and gals can help me out here its my only car so I really need it to run.

Checked the timing like 11 times today and went through 3 disturbotors and this the KA24DE

make sure you arent 180* degrees out on the distributor. did it used to run? what started the problem?

the motor blew up once and it is a fresh rebuilt by a profesional builder in my hometown but the guys who owned it before me try to put it in time and i think they bent a valve but who knows

maake sure the ground strap is on the firewall to the head and block and transmission. mine did the same thing, cranked all day long. spark, fuel, everything was good. untill I reattached the ground strap it wouldn't start.

well we did a leak down test today and all look good except cylinder one and it was leaking off 80% of the air looks like head is getting rebuilt does it help any on a bolt on KA to get the head ported
