I tried posting in the technical forum but have not gotten replies I needed to fix the problem.

My breaks engage every so often while I am driving, without me touching the break pedal.

I have recently changed my two front calipers, brake booster and break master cylinder( all not long enough to be faulty again, I think). At first I thought it was the vacuum line that connects on the booster to the engine, but I got another one(same one from the junk yard), and problem persists.

Whenever I remove that hose my breaks don't engage unless I depress the pedal. However, the pedal is super stiff.

please help.

i think you might have the vacuum line corrected up wrongly or something. From the brake booster where does the vacuum line connect to on the engine?
