I installed my AEM intake the other day and I started getting the check engin light so.. I pulled the codes and they were...

1302: Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve0803: Absolute Pressure Sensor

Now obviously theres something wrong with the vaccum hoses on the intake...

I triple checked to make sure that they are connected tight and well... but still engine light

My question is..1. How can I easily tell if there is a vaccum leak somewhere on those hoses?

2. Which vaccum hose (upper large? lower large or lower little?) on the intake is those sensor connected to?

Thank you for your help.

Check your MAF connections? Also while the car is running take some soapy water and rub it on the hoses to see if it sucks in the soap and water anywhere.

MAF connection is fine... if it wasnt i think the ECU wouldve given me a MAF code....

Hmm soap and water sounds like a good idea. I think Imma try that.

thanx.

Anyone know which hose on the intake tube has to do with MAP and absolute pressure sensor?

I think only the OBDII cars have it. It's for onboard diagnostic only... not for engine control.
