OK, here's the deal. I have my new fogs in and one of my PIAA Ion Crystal (yellow in color) bulbs is blown. So, I either need to get another set or pick up something different. I have PIAA Super Plasma 168 marker lights right now and they don't really match the HID's at all. Others say they do match when using the H3's. Anyway, help me decide....Which bulbs to get

i have the 85 watts Narva Golds on mine. I love them and get alot of compliments combined with my angel eyes . They are bright yellow at night and there is no way to get them any brighter without some type of yellow lens over the bulb. i had the super plasmas before these but i didnt care for them since they didnt match the HIDS nor did they put out any light.

Are the Narva Golds 55w-85w bulbs or are they true 85w bulbs? Since the '02's have glass fogs, the 55w bulbs already make them hot as hell and I believe 85w bulbs would make them more prone to crack if hit by cold water while they have been on for a while.

Yes, the PIAA Super Plasma's do not seem to match very well in my opinion. I had a quick argument with a member of another site concerning them as he stated they were a perfect match with the 168 wedge bulbs. Of course, taking a night pic of them with the flash on not worthy as proof, but the same pic without the flash on proved my point ;)

Eurolite actually has a H3 bulb that is 4100 kalvin which is a perfect match for the HID's. Unfortunately, they are 100w bulbs :(

As far as the PIAA's not lasting long, my Ions lasted over a year. The one that is blown is one that has been constantly getting wet since I installed them due to a hole in the fog lense. That was probably the main reason it died so soon. The Ions do such a good job along with the HID's in highlighting the road, I am leaning towards getting another set at this point.

I agree that they did what they were supposed to do- cast visible light on the road in front of me. Given the poor headlights of the 4th gen, that money is well spent on good fog bulbs.

Crap, i did not even see the poll. I just responded in the threads. Anyway, you went with what my vote would have been.

Heck, I will go vote now, just to show support for your decision!
