I've currently narrowed it down to two cars.

1) 1996 Mitsu Eclipse GS-T with 99k2) 1994 Toyota Celica GT with 133k

I can't pick! Help me oh wise(arse) Nico buds!Which car?

Both are girly to me, but the DSM will be faster. But the prob with Mitsu is for how long will it be faster? I like cars that run. (Toyota)I choose #3.

Yeah I'm kinda worried about the Mitsu breaking down. Basically I need to get a car for under 4 grand..... kinda slim pickins.

I agree with the B13, find some sweet SE-R or perhaps a nice 1st gen G20?

The 1994 Celica was the coolest model made!!I'd buy the Celica if you have already narrowed it down to 2

Mitsubishi has known dependability and build quality issues. The Celica is a good choice.

For the two most popular Nissans mentioned. I had an S13, it was just too cramped for me to drie daily (6'3), and I'm not really big on the J30. They are nice, but just so bland. I'd take a 300zx (if I fit) but I can't find any for cheap in decent shape.

Man get the DSM of the two. The toyota is underpowered. If the DSM is taken care of then you should be fine. If it is ragged then I say nay. :D

Of course it's not a GT4, we never got them here. I can only assume you mean an All-Trac, in which case that would have probably been mentioned in the first post at which time the debate would have ended.

3SGTE > 4G63 (Ha) and SR20

I just think that those year model celicas are lame. They are kinda ugly and have crap for power. 135 hp compared to 210 Hp for the DSM. Not to mention how cheaply you can make that DSM even faster. :D
