help me out with a 240 sx

hey im new to imports and dont know much about mechanics(although i want to), but i wanna tune out a 240sx. I found one thats not in the best condition, but its cheap. its all stock. 98500 miles. other than a little rust on the drivers side door, there isnt any visible body damage. the engine compartments kinda dirty and the insulation under the hood is chewed up some(by mice im guessing). i havent driven it yet, so i dont know how it handles or anything. its the base model( the XE i think?). anyway im thinkin about getting it. does 900 -1000$ sound right? is it worth getting? i appreciate any help

Welcome to NICO, but dude, Wrong forum. This should be under the 240sx & Silvia forum. Even then, you could have a better description on the title i.e. Found 19** 240sx for sale, Is this price acceptable. AND even then, theres been tons of people that have asked the exact same thing. Read the stickies/search.

And to answer you, that sounds fine, however if that's what they're asking you could probably get it for less ~400.
