PROBLEM #1ok so i just got my 92 coupe. so far ive had it for like 1 maybe 2 weeks. still have no plate or insurance on it. so i still dont drive it in the streets. so ive had it parked. and 2day i turned it on and started idleing really low like at 900 rpms the would drop to 500 rpms to the point it stalls itself. so i left it on for a while to heat up and it started idleing normal. why did this happen?

PROBLEM #2the rear *glass/windshield* started to get foggy and humid. anyone know why? i have 2 tops that came with the car to cover 2 holes on the bottom of the trunk. do you think maybe the humidity is gettin in through the holes in the trunk? cause i still have not put the tops on.

well ok plz help me out. would really appreciate it. Thanks

well a car ain't airtight, that's for sure. i wouldnt worry about the windshield getting foggy. that's why it has a defogger.

as for your other problem, you should buy a repair manual and check it for rough idle when cold. or anything else that you feel might apply. I would start out saying it might be the iacv or the solenoid that allows more air in when the engine is cold. if it had a KA I could tell you where these parts are, but on an sr, no idea.

So many causes of rough ideling on the 240 that it's hard to say. You just have to keep trying until you fix the exact cause of your idle problems. For me, it was cleaning the throttlebody, MAF and the air filter. That took care of my idle problems.
