Help me.... meh

General discussion forum about the 240sx, and a great place to introduce yourself to the board!

Alright ive got a lot of questions but it seems that the smart thing i can do is learn the basics so as i can understand what the hell ur all talking about lol.. So my question is this... How did all of you learn so much about ur cars??? and how do i do this without having to live in a garage or build one myself??

......Well, try finding a book on basic mechanics, learn how your components of your car work and work together. A good understanding will help a ton....but even with that knowledge its nothing without some wrench time, because there are some things the books or Ehow.com won't tell you.

I can so easily rip on you but i feel for you so i'll help you

SEARCH!! use the search button up top, go to the nissan mechanic section to the right and just read as much as possible and like those douchenozzles above said, google, yahoo and just search as much about anything auto you can.

That's how i did it and i'm sure a lot of others did the same thing.

i jsut instantly knew because i'm a genius like that. actually, when something goes wrong, research on what it could be and how to fix it. get yourself a decent set of basic tools and go to town wrenching stuff.

OFT! Just read up on everything, search before you ask something, it has probably been asked more then once, and enjoy your car.
