Help me in my search for buying a car..

:helpI'm looking into an s13 and I think I found one I'm interested in .

I still need to go look at it and call on it but I'd like to get opinions from people who already own one on what I should ask the seller about the car.

Things that need maintenance.. timing chain, etc.

What common things need to be replaced around 128,000 miles. Anything that would help me in my search to find a decent 240sx.

1990 NISSAN 240SX, 4 cyl, passed emissions, new tags, 5 spd, full pwr, fully loaded, ac, ps, pb, pw, pdl, cc, am fm cass, moonroof, tint, new paint, alloys, new tires, 128K mi, good to exc cond, must sell, $2200 obo

KBB is $2120.. if it's in reasonable condition, whats the most I should offer?

where u from bro? i got my 91 se coupe for 2000 and it had like 124,000 miles on it. I got it from some dude off autotrader who was asking 2500, but if they needed the money that bad...u know wat i mean... people be asking to much for cars that arent even worth 2000 tho, so watch it. i say go test the car for urself and do some very close inspections if u havent already done so

I just wanted to know what questions to ask the fella pertaining to 240sx's of that year and mileage so I got the major and basic things checked out before I decided to purchase.. Thanks.

Offer him 2000 max. Also if it has HUD make sure it works. I didnt and now it is all messed up. I got mine a year ago for 2500 but it only had 70000 miles on it and its an 89. good luck

I called the guy and he said that the 1990 s13 is sold but he has a 1992 s13 fastback for sale now too. Says it's white with 129,000 miles and the engine, and I quote is "pretty good" and the exterior doesn't really have anything wrong with it he said. He want's around 2200 obo for that 92. I guess I could go look at it but he sounds like he's not sure if it runs good or not when I talked to him.
