I've got a sticky brake lever on the bike and it's really giving me hell on the track. Looking to clean the calipers and swap in some new fluid, but I can't figure out where to get this tool. Tool that spins the piston. I imagine it's called: brake caliper piston turning tool, but have yet to find a search that leads me to it. It's about midway through the video.

oh yeah, that tool?

Its called a pair of needle nose pliers from harbor freight.
Or, the bent nose ones if you really wanna get fancy...

(or go to the dealership and spend $300)

Looks like these may work?

I'm assuming you are looking for something like this...

The "fancy" version is this..

I own both.. the second one is by far superior to the first one.. and the first one is by far superior to trying to do it with needle nose pliers, which can slip off, break, etc and cause damage to your hands, etc.

Got to an auto part store and they usually let you rent them for free.

I went to an advance auto parts put down a $50 safety deposit, you get it 100% of it back when your return it.

Can't really remember the name of it, but I'm sure if you explain to them they'll know what your talking about.

*I don't know if the one used for cars and bike are they same tho.

Edit: After actually watching the video I have no clue wtf it is.

If anything Rich might know what it called or how to get it.

kids these days...I <3 cheap tools because I don't feel guilty cutting them up.

we have a nice collection of half wrenches, flattened wrenches and torched pliers at the shop....if it doesn't work for what you're doing, make it work.

My old tools still serve their original purpose. Now, if we're talking about piece of steel that was never a tool to begin with, then yes, I can relate.

This is OK, as long as your write "SST" followed by a random number on the side with a sharpie.

Your not a man if you don't have at least a few tools who you have taken to a pedastool or angle grinder.
