Hello,

I have an 89' 240SX, with the KA24E engine. After replacing the timing chain components, I found out I had broken a sensor type device on the rear of the engine, due to jacking it out of the mounts.

The parts in question are directly behind the valve cover, they are small black cylinderswith vaccum connections on the sides and electrical connections on the top, one is blueand the other is green.

What are these, and if they are a dealer only part, does anyone have a part #?

Thanks, Chris

They are called the P.R. control solenoid valve and the S.C.V. control solenoid valve. I dont know what they stand for or any part numbers, but your dealership should have these.
