So I found this in a warehouse behind the shop I used to work at. My boss had no idea what it was or where it came from. The only markings on it say "regular", "A/T type", "45mm", and has a serial number on it (4047-16). Here are some pics:

So it has grip at the base and seems to be aluminium. I just use it in case of burglary or just to beat someone's head in, but what was its original use? Sorry the pictures are mirrored. My computer camera does that...

Maybe some sort of transmission tool?

That's what the A/T part seems to point to.

Well, I was ganna be mature and woulda guessed a part of a MT shifter or part of an old strange European AT part that those dam Germans engineer.

But, since Im not mature enough, that totally looks like a fun friday night with a painful saturday morning.

Well, you see, when I was in high school, I was in the "God Squad" and a bit of a tool. That picture was actually taken at church where we went after (maybe before?) prom. There was no alcohol, sex, or anything that normal people do at their proms.

Well, it doesn't matter what it is anymore. I went to Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans last weekend and stuck "the thing" in my bag. Long story short, someone stole my f*** bag, so I no longer own this magnificent tool.

You could start searching other car forums for threads titled: "Help me ID this thing" and maybe you can find the deviant that stole it.
