Ok. so i bought a head unit form onlinecarstereo.com and its going to be here tommorow, its a jensen vm 9512, i dont really want to have to wait one minute with that thing not installed, when it gets here. So heres the issue

I bought a scosche wiring kit" old school" from wallyworld, one problem, theres three stereo outlets, and the kit came with two stereo harnesses, there was another kit there, but i want to know if all of them have to be hooked up or did the one serve no purpose, its the little white one that plugged into the bottom of the factory stereo, next to the antenna.

the unused one you are looking at is probably the disc changer one.. i remember it being a small white plug but dont remember its location on the deck. If im right, it will be unused. Mine is dangling somewhere behind the deck now. I did my stereo install a few years ago but cant remember much else, except i did use a dual harness type thing.

Good luck on the install.

Dont forget the 2 into 1 connectro for the antenna - Nissan uses a dual antenna design. while aftermarket decksonly have one antenna input.

in my truck i have 2 dangling connectors one is for the steering wheel controls and the other is for the CD Changer.

so if you dont have steering wheel controls than you should only have only one connector dangling, and as Fueler said it does not need to be connected.
