After coolant system refill ON '90q, i've got that water-behind-the-dash sound. Can't search archives now, so, someone please post again how to get rid of it. I've topped off several times since refill but sound keeps coming back.

From my experience, TUrn heater on...let system cycle........shut off...

With big towel, open radiator cap....the higher one on your q45... fill....

repeat.

just keep recovery tank at proper level and system will burp itself and use coolant from recovery tank as needed to replace air in system over time as car cycles thru warmup-cooldown cycles from normal use-keep an eye on resivour over next few days and top off as needed

Also helps to park with the "nose" as much uphill as possible when the motor's warm/hot. This will help with the burping process.

I would leave the heat on full blast at all times, and the adjust using the fan.....

otherwise... when the car is cold take off the radiator cap and then adjust as necessary.....
