Is anyone in the atlanta area got a rotary engine display. It is just the rotor housing and a rotor. I am doing a visual aid speech for my speech class and need one by tuesday. I have found them online but they are way too expensive to ship. They look like this

I would just buy one there, but shipping is 50.00 bucks and up which is ridiculous. So if anyone in the atlanta area has on I can borrow or buy from them please let me know.

Definatly might want to plan further ahead. If you really need it, I say you buy it and see how fast they can ship it to you. All depends on how important the grade is.

hey does it have to be the physical thing? If you'll have computer access, I did a 3D model of a Renesis cross-section like that. It's not the greatest thing, but its animated (and has the zoom zoom song as background music).

You'd need the plugin to see it in explorer.http://www.cult3d.com/download/viewer/win_ie.asp

I have some other stuff running now, so give me like an hour to get it uploaded. I'll post a link when I'm done.

It's also 49.50 for the cheapest shipping.

ok, it's kinda small, but maybe you could get a projector or something. If you click on the rotor, it cycles. Left click spins the model, right click zooms, and middle mouse moves it.

Anyways, here's the link:http://www.pwnsauce.net/Renesis1.htmlHope you can use it.

Edit: if it takes too long to load, I could send you the files you'd need in a .zip or .rar or something.

Hey that is actually perfect. I would ahve preferred to use a physical model, but that will work perfectly. It would be great if you could send me that in a zip file. Thanks again

Slight oversight on my part. The file is about 30MB zipped so I can't exactly email it. I can send it to you via file transfer with AIM.

yeah, except the main file is 29MB so splitting it kinda doesn't work. btw, mysteryincman, where are you. been on AIM all day. Do you still need the file or you got something else?
