I have a 92 automatic fastback 240sx (ka24de)

After fixing my transmission problem, I now have an engine problem that some how came. At first at cold start acceleration would hesitate/stumble about 10mph plus. When leting it warm it would not really hesitate much, but acceleration still sucked. No power at all, it felt weaker than a 1.6 shoc suzuki sidekick with only 3 pistons working... It would hardly go anywhere pass 55mph if it did, it would struggle. While taking a 20 mile trip, I was at around 60mph and it just suddenly dies i pul to the side and try to start, it couldn't. I waited like 15 min and it just started up. The engine wasn't overheated either. No idea why it just died. Change the distributor cap and it had no effect. One day I drove it to school and accidently left my corners on and the battery drianed. No big deal but then when me and my bro tried to start it up it wouldn't. We tried to start it up pressing it with gas and it started but not good. Try to shift to drive and it dies. At one time when we were starting the engine it jerked like a animal gone crazy. Later that day we towed it home. At first when we got it home it would start normal and just idle great, but hit the pedal and it would die. Now the engine doesn't have spark and My dad has a few ideas what can be wrong but not really for sure. I just want to get ideas of posible things that i can do to get my baby runing. Anything would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
