Alright... a little background:

I bought a used DIF Fan Controller from a member. However, it was missing one of the wires for it to work. The wire that Im missing is the one that goes to the temp sensor and the manual switch. Unfortunately, it has an outlet on the end thats pretty impossible to duplicate so customizing a different wire is near impossible.

Here are pictures to explain what Im talking about:

In the first picture its the black, white and grey wire. In the second picture you can see where the plug goes into the controller where it says switch sensor on the controller.

Ive been in contact with the person who I bought the unit off of and it seems like a long shot for him to find it if he even has it. Ive also been in contact with a few companies that sell the controller to see if they would sell the wire separate with no luck as well.

So heres the deal:
Find me the wire for sale and I will send you $15 through paypal... If the total comes to less than $20 dollars shipped, Ill send you $20.

Thanks in advance

Why don't you call the manufacturer and see if they can sell/send you one?

If you can't find anyone to ship the harness to you, consider putting a new one together yourself. Its hard to say for certain what size connector that is, but it looks like Molex's Micro-Fit line.

In the second link, if you look at the drawing of the 4-pin connector in the upper right, it appears to have the tabs on the sleeves in the correct orientation. You'll need to verify the pin spacing is correct. If its not correct, chances are Molex makes the right one anyways so you'll have to find it on their site. Once you have that plug, all you will need are the corresponding terminals, wires, and a crimping tool for the terminals (do not use any old crimper). Buy extra terminals if you've never crimped these before. You WILL mess up trying to learn to crimp these.

^ Exactly what I was thinking. That looks just like a Molex 4 pin. I'd probably salvage one from a dead computer power supply before I'd got buying crimpers and such.

The one for a PC power plug are different. The tabs on the sleeves are on different corners or don't exist at all on certain sleeves. IT can probably be modified to work, but why go through that hassle if you can find the right one.

I would try Digi-Key for anything weird like that, but you're gonna need some precise measurements in mm.
