Help me find the DOT stamp on a set of headlights

Hoping someone can help me out, my vehicle came in from Japan and of course the Canada safety inspection require DOT stamped headlights and of course the JDM. Headlamps don't come with one. When I'm buying a set of USDM headlights, where can I verify the DOT stamp is on? Thank you

If yo look at teh edge of the lens where the center nose panel would be you can see it has the work DOT molded into the glass. I believe that is what you are looking for.

Just look for the 3 nipples on the lenses for alignment tools, JDM do not have these, they are North america specific.

I didntwant to say that as I have dealt with non-DOT approved lights in the past that had the nipples. If his inspection is specifying that they see the DOT markings then nipples be damned, he needs the DOT mark.
