I bought a turbo flange and the holes do not line up correctly. As luck may have it, I have a flange pattern that is only used by 2% of turbo owners out there. I was told a mercedez or ford flange? no idea where to find one. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Here are some pictures. Notice the two holes on the right are the only ones that line up. I was considering knotching the other holes but knotching 3 out of 5? I would be OK with knotching 1 hole but 3 would not put me at ease. Oh and the turbine is partially blocked by the flange.

Yes, the internal wastegate is mounted, but I won't be using it. It'll be taken off when I mount and clock the turbo.

Well it looks like simply an enlarged Garrett 5 bolt flange. I have no idea, never seen one before. Do a little research on the Benz style flanges and see if thats what you have.

On a side note, it looks like that turbine has oil residue on it, pretty seriously. You sure you havnt bought a blown turbo?

A guy I know welded on a piece of pipe, then welded up a V-Band setup. Then all he did was weld a plate over the internal gate hole...sounds ghetto but it worked very well and looked nice to boot. Beats finding a one off flange. Never be afraid to weld stuff

Based on looks alone, that looks like Garretts "compact 5 bolt" housing which means: You can't find $h!t for flanges.

Best bet is to do some welding. V-Band is actually your only option..

Wow WD was right for once...?
