ok I have been going crazy tring to find this ecu plug or harness for my series 1.

My problem is I have a harness on the motor but the ecu plug has been cut and I have called jarco and JHOT they don't part out this item. I have not seen a S1 on eaby in like 6 months so i'm in a pickle.

If someone knows some work aound like using a q45 ecu plug or some other source or maybe someone has the PLUG that would be freaking awsome since all i need is this plug for my harness and a working turbo(need new stock center cartridge) and i'm done I hope.

3rd gen maxima or pre 95 300zx. Their plugs should fit and their ecu pinouts are similar.

Now, when you say 3rd gen Maxima, which model, or does it not matter?

Meaning, for the 3rd gen Maximas, there is a VG and a VE motor. Completely different wiring, ECUs, motor, etc. DOHC vs SOHC, 190 HP vs 160 HP......

Hey man, if you want, I am going to a junkyard this weekend/Monday in south Atlanta. I know of a VE engine there that may still have the ECU plug. I'll let you know if I can scrounge it up.

I have found that the q45 90-94 will work. The max and the 300zx won't fit they are close but won't fit.

Woot save myself some more $$.. now I just have to find a Q45 at the junkyard. Hope this helps someone out there in the same perdicament as me.

That's strange, what's the diff between the max/z and the RB plug? The ecu layouts I've seen showed them being exactly the same. :/

I can stop by my local junkyard tomorrow after I get off of work, around 2 pm. That I know of, they have two Infiniti Q45s, 90-94ish. I'll let you know if I get it or not.....

the max has plastic pins that line up with the plug in and order of 4 2 2 3

the q45 has them just like my series 1 rb25 and my co workers rb20 these are 4 3 3 3. the 300zx has the same type of connector as well.

I'll post a pic tommorow of what i'm talkign about it will be better understood.

I found this out thanks to all data. It's nice working at a shop with the right tools. you get stuff done ten times faster.

______________________________________________________________________________________

here is a ecu plug for a 89-94 Nissan Maxima______________________________________________________________here is a ecu plug for a rb25det seriers 1

______________________________________________________________here is a ecu plug for a 90-96 Z32 300ZX with VG30DETT

______________________________________________________________here is a ecu plug for a 90-96 300ZX NA with VG30DE

______________________________________________________________They all look the same. also the rb 20det is the same as well

______________________________________________________________Oh yes and the infinity Q45 90-94 ecu[img]burnin240sx.q45.org/ecu_compare/ecu6.jpg[/img[

so in theroy the rb20, rb25, maxima, Q45, 300ZX NA, and 300zx have the same ecu plugs.

This should help the cut harness and broken ecu plug peeps out there.

So the maxima will work? But that's not the ecu i was talking about, should have been the 92-94 DOHC maxima, VE30DE.
