Alright everyhting is installed now. I got my test pipe on...And got my lc-1-xd-1 wideband combo installed. I can not go full throttle barely go half now...If I go easy on throttle I can take it all the way to redline...What did my a/f ratios need to be? I know 11.5-12 while in boost...but i this only at wot? What if I'm crusing along at 3000rpm?

Symptoms: A/f slowly go down as rpm increases...If I get on the throttle(anything over 50%) my car will sputter(always) and backfire(sometimes) Before if I stayed on it, it would sometimes catch and go(but never at WOT)I would be around 12.5-13 A/F and te\hen would increase throttle % by like 10 and the car would sputter..A/f jumps to 15/16 then drops down to liek 8,9,10, but at that time I have let off so it goes back to idle... Am I only getting those numbers due to the car sputtering?

I have the SAFC to adjust my injectors..I have stock replacement spark plugs in my car. Not gapped yet. Is this my problem?I'm blowing out spark? Any ideas?

Which injectors are you using? The 370's or the 550's?

And you didn't even gap the plugs before you put them in? Mine are still gapped at .040, and they're doing fine.

And the a/f when you're cruising(in vacuum) should be 14.7:1.

Sounds like spark plugs, get a new set of NGK Coppers and gap them down to around 0.032"

I'd disregard the A/F numbers until you get the sputtering fixed, the mixfiring will enrich the reading.

Make sure timing is set correctly. I'd worry about timing first. As long as AF ratio isn't way out in the lean area(past 12.5:1) just leave it alone until you get timing set to correct advance.

Get some BKR6E-11 NGK coppers and gap them to .032" or so. Also upgrade your ignition coil.

My ignition coil is fine. Because my plugs were gapped at .062 so I went and bought a new set of stocker(all they carried) and gapped them to .031 Thing purrs like a kitten now although idle is a bit rough. Nothing to major A/c solves that problem. Also once I get exhaust the better flow may fix it as well. Thign is boostin awesome.

Good to hear, Flordia. Keep a good eye on those AFRs now, especially during your first few weeks with the car. Make sure everything is running right before you even begin to get comfy with it and relax. Same deal with your boost gauge and oil pressure.

Fiz next time you should install an engine failure gauge, its a simple looking device...it only has one mark on it, far to the right it says OK. as the needle sweeps to the left the vacum line plumbed into your wallet is activated....
