This has been going on for about 2 months now. And it drives me crazy. I have my "air bag" flashing and I want to fix it. I also carry passengers most of the time and I want my air bag system to work properly. So I read the FSM the "RS" section and I put it in the diagnostic mode ( I do not have a Consult). I am just having trouble matching the light with the FSM. Can someone please watch the flashing pattern in the video and tell me whats wrong with the system?.

Here is the video:

Thanks Nico!

from service manual (RS-29), i think mine is 1994, it says the first 2 flashes indicate a problem (if no problem, keeps flashing at same slow rate indefinitely), then the quick flashes is the error (RS-36). so 2 quick flashes it says is:

The drivers airbag module circuit is out of order
1. Visually check the wiring harness connections.
2. Replace the spiral cable.
3. Replace the drivers side air bag module (Before disposing of it, it must be deployed)
4. Replace the diagnosis sensor unit.
5. Replace the air bag harness.

So are we talking about the air bag in the wheel?
