Alright boys...i know this is a Nissan forum but i've been having problems diagnosing my daily Beater; a 92 honda cracker box civic sedan. Alright here's the scoop...i was driving one day and all of a sudden the battery light came on and a second after that the check light engine flashed...a while after that the car died on me so i pulled over and started her up again...she fired right back up! A week later it did the same thing, but this time she won't fire up anymore...

I checked for spark which there wasn't, so i swapped in a "new" distrbutor tested it and there was spark...fusturating thing is she cranks but won't fire!! The battery's fine...all lights work...i believe the fuel pump works...cause i can hear it pumping when trying to start the car...the spark plugs are new...the wires work fine...wtf is it?? Could it be a fuse?? Could the engine be flooded with Fuel after cranking it so much?? Any help would be great!! Thanks boys.

Well the battery light usually only comes on when your alternator light comes on OR if your terminals are loose.

Check your fuse box under the hood. You should have a few big fuses from 50 to 100 amps each (starter, ignition, engine, etc.) make sure the bridges on them are good... you also have a few fuses in the inside probably under the steering wheel such as ignition and fuel that you can check.

i know you said you get spark but just in case.. i cant think of anything else to check...
