Hello again.. back from my trip finally and now i need a new car badly.. freaking - 48 while i was gone hah.

Well ive narrowed it down to 3 350z one is a 2003 fully loaded heated seats 29k miles they want $20k

the other one is a 2006 28k miles and they want $20k but its nto fully loaded just cloth seats.

and the last one is also 2003 fully loaded with only 20k miles and they want 20k as well.

is there any differnce between then 2003 and 2006 models at all? is the body and everything the exact same? like 2003 body kits will work on 2006?

which would you go with? both are 1 owners. i looked up recalls and it says that the 2003 has had 3 recalls where the 2006 has not ever had one yet.

please let me know ASAP.. my current honda civic is falling apart! no speedometer barely any heat, 3 breaks so on.....haha.

I would go with the 2006. I like the lights on the 2006 better, LED tail lights, and better looking head lights. The wheels were also changed for the 06, and the horsepower was increased to 300. I may have a biased opinion, I had an '06 before my current Z and loved it. I never had one problem out of it and was rather hard on it.

as far as the body kit goes.. will the 2006 pretty much work with any body kits?

also whats the differnce between a fully loaded 2003 and the bare bone 2006? is it just heated leather seats and thats it?

i got my own stero for it. rims i can change out easy enough. ill sell my 2 sets for my civic.

other then heated leather seats what does the 2006 not have that the fully loaded 2003 will have?

well i just found out it doesnt have power seats, no leather seats/heated seats, no cruise control. i want to make sure because id be flying down from canada dont want to make awasted trip.

What are you looking for in the car? Do you want luxurious things like heated seats, radio controls on the steering wheel, traction control, cruise control, VDC ect? If so go for the 2003. If the 2006 is a BASE, it is just that a basic 350Z. It will have ,power windows, power locks, CD player and that is about it. The body kits will be the same for either car, BUT there are cosmetic differences. Almost all the info you are looking for you can find searching the internet.

Well i can live without the power seats, heated seats and no cruise control.

But where im living we got snow every winter and lots of it.. do you think i will need VDC or traction control to even drive in the winter? I will be winter driving it since my civic cant even heat up anymore.

when you say there is a cosmetic differnce is that on the inside or outside of the car? i have been searching the net but cant find anything other then the wheels are 5 instead of 6 star. the bodys looks the same no?

If you are into the whole features thing like I am I would get the 3rd choice. If you dont need features and just want to put mods for fun then go with the 2006.

I would not recommend driving in snow with a 350Z, you can do it (I have done it in a light snow, I had no choice) I just wouldn't want to.

This site talks about a lot, if not all, of the changes made for 2006 I believe this was the first update for the car.

The rest is simply a matter of opinion.
