Hey guys, Its almost time to upgrade these turbos on my build. I am thinking about going with a single turbo just to simpifly this engine bay, its a b**** to work on. I was trying to hold out for like a 7370 borg warner efr but i have been waiting almost a year now and they keep saying another 4-6 months, they said that a year ago. Proably looking for something that will put down 550whp. I like the full race manifolds so thats probably what I manifold i will run. Doubt it will fit in there but we shall see.

I am using the Borg Warner S300sx 88/75 turbo on my RB26. I am hitting full boost at 5300 rpms and at only 18 psi (wastegate spring pressure), I am getting about 505 rwhp. Absolutely love the turbo, its cheap, rebuildable, and unmatched at that price point. Highly recommended.

I would like to see a side by side comparason of the 7670 efr and the 8374. Im hoping the 7670 will hit 550whp on the rb26...

Doubtful the 7670 will do it on pump or even pump + meth. The 8374 would be your best bet as it is the closest EFR turbo to an 8875, which would probably just be able to hit that magic 550whp w/meth.

gtx3076 with at least an 82 ar exhaust housing. on the 25's it spools super fast...a 26 has longer stroke and will spool it even faster. you should have no problem making 550-600 around 22-24 psi on that turbo and should start spooling hard around 2500-3000

Ramius83 hey I was also looking at getting a s300sx I was wondering what "ar" you have on your s300sx 88/75 as my t78 is far to big and doest spool fast enough

GTX3076 will choke the RB past a certin point IMO turbines are way small in comparison to what the compressor can do... just my opinion

I run a journal bearing 6766 1.00ar T4 on my rb25 with rb26 head... using factory ITB's 260 procams and a ported head im getting 18psi just before 4500 RPM this is with 7:9 compression ratio as well..
