help me choose. i need your opinion..sound system

tomorrow or sometime this weekend i am buying a sound system for my AC. I cant decide if i rather get the alpine x's or the alpine r's. I know the r's will be great and more than i need, but yet i'm still tempted to spend the extra money and get the x's.

whats your call?

I am getting the X's. I believe my thread should be at the top under the stickys and we talk about them a little. But the type R's are amazing. But if you are going with the X's. The X's need alot of power, so you will need to spend a good bit of cash on the amp/s. For the amps in my car, it will cost like $1600 to power 2 10's

Type R is the way to go I think.

As previously mentioned, it takes a very expensive amp to power the X.

I have a 12' Type R and an Alpine 1000 watt amp, does the job nicely

yeah thats what i'm leaning towards. and i think i'm gunna go with 2 10" R's and most likely the alpine m1000
