For my 72 Z - Wheels are 16x8 +0 offset.

225/50/r16 or 205/55/r16 if you need a little stretch. But you're Greg so i imagine you won't.

245/45/16 no point getting a 8" wheel if your not gonna use it

the rears should clear fine, the fronts might be a litte snug, might have to add some thin spacers adn maybe roll the finder lip, or just get crazy like me

295/40 17's on 17x11's up front and 315/35 17's in the rear on 17x12's, and now CCW has all my monies I had to convert to coil overs, and cut away a bit of body, the valance even had to loose about 3 inches towards the tires, I got the valance years ago for like $20 it's been repainted and kinda nasty but I run hot when racing and wanted to try forcing more air through the radiator, I made a plate to fill the void from the valance to the lower core support, havn't had a real hot day to find out how well it works
