Hey guys Im a new member here but I've been reading the forums here for a while, Anyways heres my problem. When I turn the car on in accessory mode (right before cranking) The pump does its thing like normal and theres a clicking sound (maybe a relay?) it clicks 2 times then pauses for about 1-2 sec then does it again, it sounds like its coming from under the dash but I could be wrong. If it would help I could make a video tape of what im talking about and I think this is the reason that it wont run, It cranks like its just about to start but it never does. The engine is a ca18det and if you could let me know of anything to check I would really apreciate it cause I cant wait for my car to run.
Also I dont think the engine is getting spark, I checked a few days ago and im getting power to the ignitor and coilpack nearest to the front bumper but when I put the spark plug in and grounded it on the intake manifold nothing happened So maybe this could be caused by whatever is clicking? or let me know anything else I should check

mine did the same thing also for a little bit.
if its cranking over anmd you can smell fuel then i would bet your wiring isnt done coorectly. there is one part of the heavythrttle.com /srswap.com wiring that could easily be meesed up, they talk about a blue/red and a red/blue.
i didnt have one of those connected and my car would get spark to get it to start, but it was cranking. give that a try.

Checked all that and its still doing the same thing. I smell fuel on the spark plugs and still no spark But I tested the coilpack thats closest to the front bumper and it is getting 14v And I tested the ignitor Im getting like 12v on one side and .33 on the other, Is that right? Im gonna try and test the other coilpacks and make sure their getting power also. The clicking was the little brown box on the top right of the engine bay I think its the wiper amp or somthing? Please correct me if Im wrong
