The battery died on my M35x after the car sat in the driveway for weeks without being started. Since the battery is dead my key fob won't work. The key hole on the drivers door is all kinds of messed up and won't turn when I put the key in it. Something the previous owner must have done. Any tricks to getting into my car or do I have to find someone with a slim jim to pop the lock?

There are several videos online showing how to open a car hood without using the release inside the car. Once you have the hood up you can put a trickle charge on the starter, that should provide enough juice to power the receiver for the remote to work.

Thanks Rogue One. I didn't even think of that. I'll do some YouTube searching and give it a shot tomorrow morning. Thank you!

Call AAA or another tow service... I can open these cars in under 20 seconds.

I would never pay a tow service some ridiculous amount to pop the lock and obviously that is not the response I was looking for on here.

Besides, since I was struggling to pop the hood latch I ended up borrowing the same tools a tow service would use and I unlocked the door myself.
