it has been brought to my attention that i might be running lean. but how do u run lean when ur well under boost(20-30vac). i mean i can't even drive down the highway. it gradually overheats until i stop. on the streets it doesn't really heat up too much. i'm hoping that it's as simple as lack of airflow(due to the recently added intercooler), heat build up from the turbo, and ridiculous miami weather. meaning that i need an aluminum radi. i already have altima duals, and before the turbo install i had no overheating problems at all. what do y'all think. i need to figure this out fast. because this heat isn't going away any time soon. HELP! thanks in advance.

how old is the radiator? it could have blockages. When was the last time you changed coolant/thermo/water pump?

everything has been replaced within the last year. i'm going to take out the thermo tonight to see if that's what's causing problems. i just recently in efforts to solve this, flushed the radi, filled up with distilled and water wetter and bled it. i'm gonna put 60/40 in it now.

it goes in the neck that connects the hose to the block. i took the thermo off and filled with coolant, water, and water wetter. still overheating.

late post, sorry. If the radiator is clean and the thermost is functional then its probably the engine. Lean, retarded timing, leaking intake valves, plugged injectors, malfunctioning O2 sensor, mis adjusted throttle position sensor, bad EGR, bad ignition coil, list goes on. Have it computer tested, radiator power flushed, new thermostat, new water pump.
