Hey guys,

I'm at a loss of words from trying to resolve this problem.

I had a competition six puck installed in my 89 240 (97 sr20det swap) and the car ran/shifted great for at least 2000 miles.

Then the clutch started engaging very sporadically, as in: it either works fine or the car ferociously stalls out (unless you rev the motor a little, in which case the back tires spin and then the car stalls out).

It doesn't make any sense to me. I've installed 2 brand new slave cylinders, a new master cylinder, a stainless clutch line, and performed countless bleeding operations.

Just yesterday I had another brand new competition pressure plate put into the transmission (at a Nissan mechanics garage) and the same things are still happening.

Also, the car has started grinding in 2nd and 4th gear during normal driving and almost every other gear if the motor is revved past 3500 rpms.

If you have any idea what this could be, please please please give me some input....and thank you for reading my long/boring post.

Totally agree on transmission issue. However a long shot may be the bleeder block on the passenger side floor board. But that still doesn't explain the grinding in gears over 3500 rpm.
